Life’s – A Celebration! [Part-6]

GC (Glucose Club) preaches so it does practices as well no matter what, similarly as GC has taken very gallantry steps forward in imparting smile in the faces of unknown people this time GC took a step forward and on the auspicious day of Diwali it joined hands with the localities along with its hard working and dedicated volunteers took a pledge of cleaning the shores or ghats of a life giving famous river NARMADA OR REWA which flows from Amarkanthak its birth place and flows amidst of many gorges and rocky mountains, terrains and canyons providing life and fertility to the places which are geographically situated at its bank thus in Madhya Pradesh Ma Narmada as it has been rightly called is the soul life supporter in this region, but ignorant people neglecting or out of ignorance just spread filth and much more non-biodegradable elements around its banks which goes into the water killing it silently and gradually, thus GC and its volunteers has pledged to take hard core steps in making people understand the value of this nurturing river along with the adverse effects it will have on their health in the long run because use the same water for their daily basic requirements and even consume it, thus GC’s volunteers cleaned the banks meticulously separately collecting the biodegradable and non-biodegradable debris to be perished accordingly and all the flowers and all were collected and dispersed soil bed for further germination and emerging as new plantlets for further propagation, people were also educated on not to use that devil called plastic or polythene as it can’t be perished completely and if though the fumes it emits during burning is also very toxic.

The ghats were all but jam-packed with religious people and people who have come out of devotion but their devotion would only be true to the grit when they stop polluting their mother it will be respect in genuine manner anyways the ghats were strewened with people from different walks of life, bathing and offering prayers, eating and what not you name it you have it as we all know India is very colourful and it’s a full platform of different people of varied religion, caste, creed, costume, cuisine wise and even the life style also differs but the bottom line is they all believe in unity in diversity…
