What actually is volunteering?
It’s the satisfaction that matters may not be financially always but it’s something that you do voluntarily without any suggestion or pressure of any kind and no personal or selfish mode or hidden intention is there and it comes from deep within that yes I have to do this thing just for myself and for the betterment of the community, no personal monetary gain or loss thus it’s that job which you do soulfully for yourself and impart your services to the needy without any selfish motive that’s volunteering but yes it given an immense amount of eternal satiation by not just aid others but it also helps you in multidimensional ways like:
1. Boost your social skills – It enhances your capability of dealing with others you come to know your socio reacting patterns and your short comes, it helps you to make friends and other interactive groups, expand your network and boost your social skills.
2. Volunteering is very good for your mind and body – It increases self confidence, it’s a healthy boost to your self confidence, self esteem and life satisfaction. You are doing good for others and the community, which provides a natural sense of accomplishments. Your role as a volunteer can also give you a sense of pride and identity, and the much better feeling comes to you about yourself.
