4. We can provide career experience – Without making a long term commitment we can provide you with the chance to try out a new career, also a great way to experience new things in a new world you can straight away experience and learn volunteering in the field you are interested in or in an organization that interests you will have one on one experience in that field and try to master it even. For example you are interested in nursing you can straight away volunteer in an hospital or a nursing home where surplus hands are always required, your volunteering work may also expose you to professional organizations or internships that could immensely benefit your carrier in the long run.
5. Volunteering can teach you valuable job skills – Just because volunteering work is unpaid doesn’t mean in any means that the skills you learn are just basic many volunteering opportunities provide extensive training and allot extensive and vast training projects that would enhance your skills only even if unpaid or given just a token amount but the skills you learn are far more important and those could be life triggering skills for example you could be an excellent crisis counselor or very experienced women’s rights activist if you or while volunteering with a women’s shelter home or a knowledgeable art historian while donating your time as a museum docent. Volunteering can also help you to develop or build upon your skills you already have and use them to benefit an entire sector thereby helping the society and in return the country.
