Every year, each time the weather gets whimsical, may it be in summers or rains, not to forget the winters but especially in rains the things gets really plasticized, every nooks and corner get clogged with the polyethylene molecule then where goes the commitment of ‘swachh bharat’! I think just restricts itself in the files or otherwise brooming by ‘Nagar Nigam’, I frankly suggest those workers of ‘Nagar Nigam’ to cover their nose while brooming so as to avoid any respiratory tract problem otherwise even what’s the god damn use of just brooming? The dust or collecting few heaps of garbage and just disposing it some dumping ground but then too what’s the end result?
Their also poisonous gases will be emitted thus risking the health of common man! Why aren’t the disposed off in a grade wise manner as bio and non-biodegradable masses? Is it so hard and time consuming? I bet on one thing much faster and time taking is lesser than an average Indian spends on their smart phones for no good reason at all… again I got deviated but coming back to my original topic, huge drains, pipelines gets suffocated with polythene, the beautiful parks the so called parks has quaint essential two beautiful flowers – one by spitting ‘gutka’ and another as ‘coloured polythene’ are strewed all over the lawns, oh we Indians are soooooo futuristic and we have consciously switched over to plastic flowers rather than the original ones but that’s painstakingly hardwork…… as my title says our DNA’s has plasticated defines the line ‘ban on plastic’ but what, which and where all this are suffixed by the word plastic, that has to be very meticulously mentioned where, what and which plastic is banned? Not just limiting ourselves to vegetable vendors, pity on them as those plastics are few microns only, the sweet meat sellers, etc…
But the scenario is drastically different if we look upon all the multinational companies, the packaging of eatables to any other daily use products are proudly disposed off in plastic packaging, the other entertainment products may it be micro oven, grinder, washing machine to TV and other gadgets even the gadget on which I am currently typing on are Bakelite, Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS) and stuff are they being disposed of properly, the multimillion investments on hospitals, all the life saving gadgets and gizmos are but plastic in one form or the other… you name it you have it since the very birth the plastic feeding bottle and many other child use toys, gadgets are of plastic, the foot wear, the raincoats, etc are all but plastic… but the dilemma is what we did when there was no plastic…
