One fine morning started with yes of course the golden sunshine as usual everyday but this day was special the morning was taken up with all the ear deafening sounds of the loud speakers screeching at their high notes deafening our ears ‘mere desh ki dharti’ and sooooo on but why? The reason being the ‘Republic Day’ so all the ‘hullagulla mahol’ of critical surreal frenzy takes on the air everybody seems to be drenched in the tricolours of ‘tiranga’ otherwise we don’t know what is that good for as we dedicated Indians are soooo taken up with social media relations and stuff…
Suddenly the chaotic crowd took over a film but then those people ever knew the name called ‘Padmavati’? Do we really know the names of kings and queens who risked their lives for us? Then why so much concerned about just a film! Isn’t there any more problem left to be thought off other than just ‘Padmavati’? All the statues on the roads are literally littered with the droppings of our avian brother and sisters may be they are paying tributes to them in their own ways but at least they are doing so but we busy Indians don’t have any time for these idols! What have they done for us literally do all of us know even?
A survey done by GC revealed that dozens of people don’t even know the difference between 15th August and 26th January, few got stammering replies when asked about each of the famous Indian songs our respectable national anthem forget about the whereabouts of the writer or the composer then who knows the meanings of those words. Oh well do we know Sanskrit other than acquiring a passing grade during exams? We don’t have time for this as well, many were even checked for vocabulary the reply was heart wrenching when wards don’t even know the whole of Hindi alphabets from first to last but they know English alphabets from A-Z isn’t it a shame…
