Charismatic Silver Sand!

Now leaving the valley & the hills I headed towards more flat plainer zone the Rishikesh & Haridwar so I drove from Raipur, Doiwala, Harrawala, etc few to name small places houses scattered amidst the lush green fields & wrapping back drop being huge range of Garhwal I envied these locations what if I happen to sip my morning tea facing these manly peaks & in winters gleaming with the white silvery sheet of snow just breathtaking, a sanctuary of wild elephants came up but maybe I wasn’t that lucky to get a glimpse of a single tusker anyways I accelerated to Rishikesh free blowing breeze smelling humid aquatic aroma.

The pious Ghat of Ganga (left pic).
Plenty many aashrams besides Ganga (left pic). Silver gleam of Ganga in the lap of Shivalicks (center pic). Distant view of Ganga (right pic).
Laxman Jhula at the early hours (center pic). Man made marvel (left pic).

I reached Laxman Jhula depicting multiple homosapiens treading the sands of ‘muni ki reti’, I mean plenty much crowd but again the child in me woke up I wore my lifeline tied my shoelaces & started to run on the wet sands of ‘muni ki reti’ imprints of my feet were momentary but yes I did left my imprints I was heaving with fresh crisp air my lungs full now but my stomach asking for some calories now I dipped in the water & swam & did what all I could & then took off to shore to get little dried up & then headed off to Chotiwala where I enjoyed a scrumptious meal but yes vegetarian thali as there’s no non-vegetarian allowed & then my hunt for a perching place to spend the night to my dismay all ashrams full luckily a small hotel neighboring to the naughty waves I captured for myself best part was it just was few yards away from the Ghat I could feel the breeze touching and embracing me soon after hugging the waves I just rejoiced every moment of it.
