Now as in Hindu mythology the lord GANESHA is considered to be the son of omnipresent shakti MA DURGA, the wife of SHIVA residing in the higher peaks of Kailash (name of a peak in the mountain ranges of HIMALAYAS). Now all the preparations are in full swing for the welcome of this epitome of shakti/power Ma Durga, the air is heavily laden with the fragrance of this festivity as if every bit is in the mood of festivity, sun the wind the breeze that little hint of cold breeze on your face early in the morning all but all just pointing towards the aagman (coming) of Ma Durga, the different seasonal flowers all in full bloom birds in their high spirits everything is dancing in the mood of festivity.
