The Different Shades of Indian Market During Festivals

Unlike every occasion in India, the vast secular democratic nation the markets here takes the flavor of that particular occasion, maintain a theme of that occasion may it range from clothes, decorative articles or edible items. Here now is the season of teej, a festival of married women followed by yesterday’s Janamashtmi now the live visualization of markets is narrated.

From last few days shops and malls had the flavor of Independence Day followed by Rakshabandhan and now comes the occasion of the birth of lord Shri Krishna, everywhere tiny tots or ladoo gopals were being sold made mainly out of clay, pop, but majorly of brass, small to huge beautifully adorned by beads, of different colours and sizes, stones and other decorative articles, their crowns even hair dos, flutes, crowns even of two types peacock feathered and also metallic ones, kingly costumes, beaded garlands and even floral ones the katha (a story read during the praying time for Krishna) were also sold by small little boys, fruits, especially cucumbers, puffed up items of rice lai, murmura, etc, fresh flowers, cradles of wood, metal and even cardboard ones and all the possible puja (praying material) that one could ask for.

As far as the edible delicacies are concerned that was also in full swing, materials made out of flour of water chestnut, potato, peanuts, etc, ghee/clarified butter, butter, etc, the transaction goes out in full blow with all the profit and loss being taken in to account but I just love the extravaganza of the festive mood even a petty cucumber is given such honour and respect does it deserve or not I don’t know but anyways all the part and parcel of life.

Glucose Club playing a major role in exploring and conveying it to the common people how to use all the puja material into biodegradable waste thus conserving nature as Glucose Club considers every bit is fantabulous if nature is healthy, fit and fine then we can live in equilibrium with our ecosystem common join hands to make this planet a much beautiful place to exist.
