The unique day of 5th September regarded as Teacher’s Day is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of a scholar philosopher/statesman our great 1st Vice President of India (1952-1962), 2nd President of India (1962-1967), once his students asked him that if they could celebrate his birthday in return he replied why not celebrate his birthday to pay respect to all the guides/teachers who enlighten our lives from then on it started.
Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born in a Telugu family in Thiruttani in India in the year 1888 on 5th September -17th April 1975, he was a born philosopher and a scholar, was a great promoter in building a bridge between western thoughts and views with India, won many titles to his name like (knighthood in 1931), Bharat Ratna(1954), British royal order of merit(1963). We should value and follow if not all then some of his teachings and preachings in our lives and read his books and nurture ourselves. We should regard ourselves fortunate to have this scholar native to us, let’s pay regards and honour him soulfully.
Why just why one day assigned for this day, the respect and honour should be for all days, every moment as they play the most crucial role in the whole soul development of a person and his persona depicting his/her skills in not just any single aspect but for earning name/fame throughout their entire life, not just name/fame but to be a successful person mentally and physically to be just a complete human being and pursue a ethical life in the right path without any discrimination between good or bad, poor or rich or any other such discriminations and lead a contended life reaching out to people spreading one unitary message of love and brotherhood no matter if we are distant apart geographically or in any other form. We have to empower ourselves with the knowledge of truth and wisdom, honesty, integrity and above all be holding on to one bond of love, unity imparting the knowledge of success in your own eyes first of all, not to showcase it to anyone as such not in the materialistic sense but deep down inside one’s self esteem should be in the priority list.
Education not just limited to few edition of textbooks mugging those printed material downloading it in answer sheet does not prove anybody’s intelligence or ranking first or high in the grading tabloid does not prove your merit but rather one should understand the world that person is in, closely observing nature maintaining a balance with it, knowing the culture traditions enriching oneself with the complex features of understanding the psychology behind each action done by that particular person, enlightening oneself by reading good books instead of just wasting precious time period of one’s life with that nuisance of facebook/other apps in the name of technology, visiting great historical places knowing their history nurturing with beautiful biographies of great people that we had and of course a life is sufficed when you travel a lot meeting new people, knowing their culture their habits and all other small things will very much equip someone with the vast ocean of knowledge, everyone may it be a small child or a pauper can make us more knowledgeable.
In any case mother nature is the best and prominent teacher we can learn such valuable things from her which is beyond measure, even I go and sit meeting with the tots of streets or children living on the streets striving hard to meet their ends, revealing such huge accounts of knowledge and make me wonder that at times they are more properly educated from the school of their real life, they don’t have any insecurities as most of them are either abandoned by their parents discarded by the so called educated up-to-date society that is us who stands with them just no one and what’s their fault that they were born as many of them are discarded soon after they saw the light of this world for the very first time they are more sufficing as they are struggling every moment with the street peer groups, for their shelter and even for a morsel of bread to quench their hunger they will never be shy to work yes of course it has to right to meet their ends but many times they go off the track which we sophisticated people call illegal or down the line but isn’t we have pushed then to the brink of taking such a step where were we when they were dying of hunger, feet wet with mud and filth during rains, shivering under the cold wind night nothing but a tin shed who’s there to wipe their tears, to hug them to tell them what’s right and what’s wrong just no one it’s their own self jurisdiction who judges and commands what to do and what not, those we are responsible for their this condition but not all of them do wrong but whatever they the self esteem goes rocketing high as they know nothing to be ashamed off what they have is for the time being and they are ready to strive hard to acquire the best, but now a days the education system is far more superficial and its governed more or less by the money power you can buy a certificate even a MBBS certificates are sold not to mention the VYAPAM ghotala so the respect, hard work, dedication, sacrifices made for the education are all but diminished even the teachers or educators are least bothered to take the pain and reach the core of the problem but of course there again that exception of good and the bad, real teachers are there to enlighten our paths without even asking for any special reimbursement thus respecting the SARASWATI/GODDESS OF KNOWLEDGE.
I think it’s up to person to person how we prioritize our needs and requirements of life either materialistically or in a much more holistic way thus sufficing our self esteem and stand by it honouring it, it’s up to a person’s own satisfaction to enlighten the whole life of their disciples to nurture such disciplines in their lives that they would cherish and follow them all through their lives with or without their teachers but with their teachings then the success will be sustainable not short lived like a bubble of water thus enhancing the entire life towards a more contended happier zone that will be such an eternal feeling.
Here again Glucose Club plays a crucial role in empowering younger generation to just not confide themselves to the syllabus books rather let their imagination fly high in the sky exploring and touching newer heights, don’t be shy to share or ask any bit from anyone has to have come out of their own confided zone, shed their egos and maintain a nurturing a relationship with each and everybody without any segregation or discrimination just any moment or anyone could be your mentor or teacher teaching a valuable lesson in and your life, reach yourself beyond the walls of the school and make the whole world a global school think high then you will soar high colouring your life with rainbow colours during rain or sunshine it may fade for a while but they will be there to stay forever thus from now on move towards a much holistic life and make the whole planet your own single family and come out of those closed doors of your thought process thus live free feel free and respect those who owe and learn it from your soul not just for the sake of it and be your teacher at the very first instance deciding what is right or wrong not thinking about the outcome if you yourself is right then it is right to the core leave the thought of prejudices.
Celebrate every day as a brand new Teacher’s Day not just confiding it to one single day love them, adore, respect your teachers may it be anything/anyone not just school or college teachers academics is a part of life not your life and it will neither teach you everything go ahead feel the breeze the power of freedom and enjoy life to its maximum.
