Humour is the best medicine as of known till now and it’s a wonderful stress buster, stress reliever, it’s a wonderful stress antidote to upsets, clinically proven to be effective in combating stress, although the exact mechanism is not known exactly but it’s surely the balance and release of hormones that does the wonders towards stress reduction.

According to experts a good laugh releases good hormones and relaxes those tense muscles, speeds up more oxygen into the system and lowers the blood pressure, so tune into your favourite sitcom on your TV, read a funny book, call a friend and chuckle on a few unwanted items and laugh your heart out on them find out any laughing material out of nothing and laugh it out or on any futile stupidity committed by you it even helps to force a laugh once in a while you will find and realize your stress melting away almost instantly.

Laughter therapy is turning out to be a sure shot stress reliever and is the most successful stress buster. Laughter stimulates the immune system there by triggering the hidden pleasure in you and it offsets the immune suppressive effects of stress.

We know that, during stress the adrenal gland releases corticosteroids which get quickly converted into cortisol in the blood stream and the elevated levels of those have an immune suppressive effect. Laughter can lower cortisol levels and thereby protect our immune system.

The emotions and moods we experience directly affect our immune system and a sense of humour helps us or allows to perceive and appreciate the incongruities of life and provide moments of pure joy and delight. These positive emotions can create neurochemical changes that will buffer the immunosuppressive effects of stress.

A belly laugh is really good/excellent for you it relieves muscular tension, improves breathing and regulates the heart beat watch comedy shows and laugh, read comics or humour books, share funny episodes with your near and dear ones and laugh out relieving that stress together as well as it will also improve the communication between any two people.
