Channeling Your Emotions Your Way

Perhaps out of the many one of the most common terminology that comes in to play is emotions positive/negative, categorized, celebrated, vilified, suppressed, manipulated, humiliated, adored and ignored as well but in most of the cases it also happens to be least understood and over analyzed aspects of human life.

Plenty many theories goes parallel to add meaning to this word called emotion many teachings split or categorize into good or bad emotions and spend enormous amounts of time and energy goes in convincing people about this know how.

But theories doesn’t always go parallel as to which emotions are precisely right or wrong, few religions just shun all emotions weather good or bad while few only criticize on anger and fear, mostly new era teachings reflect more light towards one emotion of ‘joy’ and try to sublimate rest of the emotions including the bad emotion called grief or sorrow after long period of repression human beings have become cold hearted, mesmerized but incapable of accepting the ultimate grief related emotion the death.

Don’t repress your emotions rather express them as it allows a flow of truthfulness in body and spirit expressing very strong emotions can cause internal and external turmoil. Exterior turmoil happens when we hold responsible of our strong emotions when some unfortunate soul is poured with our strong emotion and we hold him/her responsible for our bad moods. On the contrary interior turmoil occurs when we hurt or startle someone with our outpour and feel dismayed and bad about blaming others ultimately feeling ashamed of our own oneself. Thus either we express our emotion strongly or repress it submissively either way it’s not going to help anyone in any way.

Often venting out a strong emotion and blaming other person for our bad mood and lashing out our anger can be deteriorating satisfying our egos, as well momentarily may be we feel high but then it hurts so expressing or repressing both are considered good then should we live like a vegetable no we don’t have to we have to channelize our emotions.

When we express our emotion we hand it over to the world assuming it would be noticed, honoured, healed , transformed into something bright and beautiful thus emotional expression relies on the exterior world to translate and alter those messages into action and when emotions are repressed we hand them over to the interior world hoping they will be taken care of healed and transformed into much more acceptable stuff, it thus relies on the interior world unconsciously to accept and do something with that emotion.
