The Bling Bling of Indian Mela [Exhibition]

Since childhood one thing I have loved always and wanted to have one was my sugar candies but always wondered how on earth are they being made the colorful puffy array of colors the pinks, yellows the whites the oranges all look so mesmerizing they just take me to an entire another world just few days ago it so happened that I went to an exhibition amidst of all festivity and bling bling I just caught a glimpse of a man making sugar candy in one corner of a stall I just went there and caught a glimpse of the making of my childhood marvel I was aghast and recorded the whole procedure and was happy to get a glimpse and capture it and share it with others.

Here again the role of Glucose Club comes to bring in to limelight the forgotten and sidelined stuff small children are drifting away from all this little joyous activities its time and the responsibility of Glucose Club to bring all of this into limelight and show children and even their wards to see the real thing in the bright day light and stop themselves from being blindfolded, children should go or should be taken to these places where local handicrafts and other cultural images are portrayed so the upcoming generation get in touch with the things around them and adhere to them more closely and be proud of their own thing and not get copied or traced from some culture which is not as enriching as their own, the handmade leather ‘mojris’ as it is locally called the leather shoes are so comfortable and feet gets fit in so cozily comforting the heels and the ankle and the many straight goes to the craftsman so let’s join hands together to bring all of this handwork and craftsmanship in to a category of designated labour and again be proud of what we posses and not hired from someone else and again it would aid so many families in their well being.

Then there was all the ornamentation or decorative jewelry and custom made black metal ones heightened their shine with those extra neon lamps in a row just to highlight their bling bling am just awestruck when I see all of that and how women folk swarm around these items like cluster of bees bargaining smiling and wanting to look beautiful craves for more of these. Then there’s that huge display of eatable items spicy mouthwatering delectable’s n all the possible stuff that one could ask for the atmosphere is just so fuming with happening things, the different types of ‘jhulas’ or swings parents with their children line up for the tokens or the tickets and their wards waiting eagerly for their turn to come laughing and giggling, the most eye catching view is that of the glass bangles all displaying a wide spectrum of shades to wander again how these are made and who is the magician who makes these delicate stuff. The swings the dragons and all the merrygo rounds are full of lights and splendor and the aura is so festive and merry making goes on.

The things one could find in here could range from as simple as a popcorn to all the required decorative beatify items from jewelry to even vegetable choppers, the puppet show even a galore one must go and see as we will aid them with at least little bit whatever we can our contribution towards their well being be with the real you not just all made up and artificial stuff face the real life and not just pretend a life that you can never find yourself in.
